Our gorgeous Eriskay pony, Cholderton Sunset Attenborough, is officially TWO and somehow even more cheeky and curious than ever.

Whether he’s trotting over for attention, running alongside the pig race or causing a little mischief in the field, he’s always full of personality! Swipe to see how tiny he was!

Eriskay Ponies are one of the rarest native pony breeds in the world and are listed on the Rare Breeds Survival Trust Priority Watch List. Back in the 1970s, numbers dropped to around just 20 ponies worldwide, but thanks to dedicated breeding programmes, there are now around 400-420 globally. 💚

If you’re visiting us this week, make sure you pop by the pig race field and wish birthday boy Sunny a happy 2nd birthday! 🎂

And of course, happy 100th birthday to Sir David Attenborough too, who Sunny is proudly named after! 🥳

If you’re visiting us this week, please note there are essential roadworks taking place nearby on the A338. We're hoping there should be clear diversion signs in place, but if you're coming from Salisbury you will likely need to access us from the A303. Please check your route before you set off.

📅 Wednesday 6th – Saturday 9th May (Potentially less)
⏰ 9:30am – 3:00pm daily

📍 Location: A338 between Amesbury Road and the 30mph limit in Cholderton

🚗 What to expect:
Temporary road closure during working hours
Diversion routes in place via A303 and A338
Possible delays, especially at peak times
Vehicle access may be restricted at certain points
Pedestrian access remains open

✨ We are OPEN as usual, and all activities are running as normal.

⚠️ Please allow extra time for your journey and follow local diversion signage on arrival.
