Alpaca Trekking at Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm near Salisbury, Wiltshire
Book an alpaca walk with us and experience the beautiful calmness (and lots of laughter!) of the Alpacas and our stunning vineyards, farmland, woodlands and countryside as you walk them around our Salisbury farm and vines, just minutes from Stonehenge!
The whole experience lasts approximately 1 hour, you will arrive and check in at reception where you will be warmly greeted and taken to one of our friendly Alpaca handlers. Here, you will be given a short health and safety briefing and you will also have the opportunity to learn more about these amazing animals and where they come from. You will also be able to ask any questions you may have about the animals or the experience. Once you have been partnered with your new alpaca chum your walk will begin. Don’t forget to get your Alpaca Selfie and tag us in all your photos!

One of our most attractive farm activities – the Pig Racing has a new Pig Race Track now open at our beautiful farm near Salisbury, Wiltshire. We currently have seven adorable young Saddleback pigelts running for you in the Daily Pig Races! They are all full of energy and tonnes of personality, so when you visit us make sure you find your favourite, and cheer them on! We have: Ross, Rachel, Phoebe, Monica, Chandler, Joey and Gunther!
Look out for their "Racing Names" on the board on the Race Track before they start and the Farm Staff will tell you the winner at the end of each race! Races are daily, click the link below to see which timetable will be running on the day of your visit and get down to the track to cheer on your favourite Piggie - look out for the board which shows the F.R.I.E.N.D.S 'racing names!'

Meet our goats
Are you looking for interesting family activities in Wiltshire? Join us in the morning to meet our wonderful goats down on the farm. We have such great examples of fine British rare breeds including the Golden Guernsey goat and the Bagot Goat, both of which are extremely endangered, and we are working hard to improve the numbers with the rare breed survival trust.
We also have a great herd of Pygmy goats which are the miniature version of a goat and are completely adorable and extremely cheeky! All of our beautiful gates look forward to meeting you at this daily animal activity. You can learn lots about our beautiful breeds as well as each individual goat during this exciting activity, make sure you come prepared lots of questions to really challenge our staff!

Our beautiful rare breeds farm near Salisbury, Wiltshire is packed full of your furry friends! In March Agnes our gorgeous highland cow gave birth to Angus (a.k.a. Gus) her adorable little son! Twice today you can come and meet this beautiful little fluffy baby and give him lots of love and attention. Please feel free to take lots of pictures of him and tag us in them online, it will be warmly received by all of your friends and family as he is just so cute!
