Farm Park & Activities

Your perfect place for a special family day out in Wiltshire…

Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm is a Rare Breed Survival Trust (RBST) registered Rare Breeds Farm Park.

Offering a fantastic quality family day out, or even a weekend getaway, no matter what the English weather has in store for us, there's something for everyone!

Overnight on-site accommodation available with Stonehenge Hostel. Located just off the A303 (ideal for those travelling to and from the West Country!) in the beautiful English village of Cholderton in Wiltshire, neighbouring the Historic City of Salisbury. It is the perfect setting for making some of those lifelong memories and having fun with family and friends. From our super-friendly animals who love to be feed, pet and cuddled, to the beautiful newly planted Bluestone Vineyards, Woodlands, Water Gardens and Nature Trails we have something for everyone to enjoy!

We are the ideal venue to host your special day – including legal wedding ceremonies, civil partnerships and wedding receptions. Our experienced staff welcomes all bookings for every type of events and functions, including anniversary parties, vow renewals, blessing, naming ceremonies, christening parties, baby showers, bridal showers, military function parties, charity events, kids parties and so much more!

Our farm is packed full of your favourite animals, including Ponies, Goats, Sheep, Pigs, Donkey, Chickens, Ducks, Rabbits, Geese and of course, our now infamous Highland Cow, Agnes. As an added bonus, there are also lots of fantastic play equipment and adventure play areas for all to enjoy: Climbing Frames, The Sandpit, Molly the Milkable Cow, Obstacles and Trampolines! Please feel free to call us before you visit just to double check everything is open and running as usual on (01980) 629438. Try to see if you can find the wild badgers, deer, foxes, squirrels, peacocks, stoats and many other wild animals, hidden around The Farm.

Conveniently located on-site, we also have a Kitchen & Larder which is open every day serving delicious homemade food, drinks and cakes all day. Guests are welcome to just pop in for food or drinks, it's a great meeting place even if it's too cold for you to visit the farm itself.
