Summer and Annual Pass Terms and Conditions:
This document sets out the terms and conditions (“Terms”) on which we supply our Annual Pass (“Annual Pass”) or Summer Pass (“Summer Pass”) (collectively referred to as “The Pass” and “A Pass”) to you (“Passholder” or “you”). Please read these Terms carefully before you submit your order for any Pass to us. These Terms tell you who we are, what we provide to you under the Pass and other important information.
We are Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm LLP, a company registered in England and Wales, with company number OC316307 VAT number 786 524 196 and our address is at Beacon House, Amesbury Road, Cholderton, Salisbury, Wiltshire SP4 0EW. These Terms are integral to each Pass and are independent of any other contract.
When you place an order for a Pass either on the Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm Ticketing website https://choldertonfarm.digitickets.co.uk/category/487 (“Website”) or at our Admissions Desk. Our acceptance of your order will take place as soon as we process your payment, at which point a contract will be entered into between you and us. Your Pass will be ready for you to collect on your next visit to the farm. Children under 2 do not require a Pass, however after their 2nd birthday, they will need to have one purchased on their behalf to gain admission to Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm.
The duration of the Annual Pass is 12 months starting from the day you purchased the Annual Pass and payment was processed. Summer Passes are valid between 22nd July – 2nd September 2024 EXCLUDING Wednesdays 31st July, 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th August 2024. Only full payment options available. Your Pass cannot be cancelled or refunded once used. The Pass entitles the Passholder to admission to Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm as per their opening and closing times during all valid dates. The opening and closing dates of the Farm may be changed during the Validity Period and any part of the farm, events or facilities within the farm may be closed or cancelled for maintenance, health and safety and/or due to special events or private functions. Please see their website for more details regarding the relevant visit days.
For the avoidance of doubt, the full value, or any part of the value of the Membership will not be refunded nor will any compensation be payable if any of the Attractions become unavailable during the Validity Period. Passholders are advised to check the Farm’s website (choldertonrarebreedsfarm.com) and social media feeds (@choldertonrarebreedsfarm) before travelling.
Passholders must present their Pass at the Admissions Desk to be permitted authorised entry. Failure to present a valid Pass (due to it having been lost, stolen, or forgotten) will result in a charge of the “on the day” admission rate which will be non-refundable. Alternatively, a new, replacement pass can be purchased on the day of your visit for £5.
The Pass is to be used only by the named holder and cannot be transferred or used by anyone else. For the avoidance of doubt, pass sharing is a breach of these Terms and any attempted use of a Pass by someone other than the named holder will result in access at the Farm being refused and, where the Pass holder was involved in the sharing of the Pass or failed to keep the Pass in a safe and secure location, the pass being revoked. For this reason, you should ensure that the Pass is kept in a safe and secure location where others will not have access to it. We will ask for a signature, ID, a password, or confirmation of personal information upon arrival to confirm user identity.
Pass holders shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that their Pass is kept secure at all times and any Pass which has been lost, stolen and/or damaged should be reported immediately to the Farm on 01980 629438.

Always love coming here. There is a zip wire which is super fun and so was the Xmas trail that was on! The plant based burger was tasty and good portion size. The staff were friendly and polite. Highly recommended 👌

Really enjoyed a visit here. It is a small place with lots of potential and enough to see. The cost to get in is reasonable for what they have and much cheaper than larger destinations.
You can buy food and feel almost all of the animals. They are really friendly and take the food from your hand. While we were walking around we were given a cup full of seed for the ducks and geese for free which was a really nice touch and really helped entertain a family with kids that were in the same area.
There is a nice woodland walk with picnic tables which were all vacant when we were there so would be great to take a picnic. I think it is an area not many explore. There was a play area for kids there too with a zip line and various other bits so would be a great way to tire kids out.
We stopped in the cafe for some lunch before leaving and had some very generous portions of food for the price, so much so we couldn’t finish it all. The outside area was great too with trampolines and plenty of seating in a lovely setting.

We really enjoyed our visit to Cholderton Rare Breeds farm! Nice food, helpful and kind staff, happy animals! The children all seemed to enjoy that there was entertainment from ‘Silly Scott’ laid on for the bank holiday weekend too.

We had a great time with our son here as a birthday treat. He loved seeing the sheep and goats up close and getting to feed them and the calves. He also got to stroke a rabbit and guinea pig. By far his favourite experience was the pig race, over in a flash but very funny! The food was cracking, good portion sizes, very tasty; we had burgers for us and sausage, chips and beans for him. £5 for the kids food and £10 for the adult, which for the size, quality and taste was excellent value

We had an amazing afternoon here. The food was very good, we had a Mac & Cheese, ham, egg & chips and a lids packed lunch. We brought animal feed with our tickets and was surprised how much we got. A great selection of animals. Loved stroking the cows, watching the pig racing was fun. Very interactive for kids and little one love the trampolines. Will definitely revisit.

Plenty of space for the children to explore and run around. They liked the different animals and feeding them. The outdoor play area in the woods was enjoyed too.

Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm, is nestled in the Wiltshire countryside, a wholesome family-run farm that’s all about preserving rare and native livestock breeds.
Visitors can meet and hand feed the farm animals – sheep, horses, goats, cattle, pigs, and chickens and participate in the daily educational talks.
Enjoy a pig race, fishing for Guinea Pigs or meet my favourite Highland cow, Gus.
Take a picnic or enjoy a tasty meal at the farm shop. Look out for the summer holiday events.
Kids will enjoy the amazing playground with slides and flying foxes (zip lines) set amongst the lush woodlands while parents can opt for a wine tasting at the Bluestone tasting room and wine shop.
A fantastic day out for the whole family.

Fantastic day out at Cholderton Farm as always. The kids had the best time. The animals were so sweet, with so many fun activities to do. The facilities are very good and clean. Particularly enjoyed guinea pig fishing, seeing the ponies and watching the pig race! We’ll be back again soon! 🙂

We were staying nearby and were looking for things to do on Easter Sunday. We stumbled across this farm and are so pleased we did. We absolutely loved it. Beautiful surroundings, well up kept and being able to interact and feed the animals was amazing. We felt it was very reasonably priced even with the optional extras (animal food, duck feeding and guinea pig fishing). We absolutely loved the pig racing too. It’s great for kids but animal loving adults too as we were an adult only party. The highlight for me was the peacock displaying to the pea hens literally 1 foot away from where we were sitting. Spectacular.

A really wonderful and highly recommended experience at Cholderton. Perfect to stop off the A303 with kids (adults too) if you want an alternative to the typical services rest break in a journey.
The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The lunch in the cafe was excellent quality, with plenty of fresh ingredients, and was a particular high point to our visit. The coffee was delicious and good to see there were wine options also (should the mood strike).
The farm itself has the usual variety of animals, but with the rare breeds giving extra interest and delight as you explore the site. There are lots of opportunities for everyone to get close to the animals for feeding and other hands on experiences with activities running throughout the day.
And if that isn’t enough, there are some fun playground setups (swings, sand pit. climbing frame and slide) if the kids still have energy to run off.
